SUPER EASY CROCKPOT SLOPPY JOE SANDWICHES
These sloppy joes can be made on the stovetop or in the crockpot. I perfer to use the crockpot because it allows all the flavors to merry while slowly cooking through the day. Serve up a sloppy joe with some mac n' cheese & you have a simple, warm fall meal!

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 sweet onion finely chopped
- 1 cp celery finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 14.5 oz can fire-roasted diced tomatoes roughly chopped
- 1/2 cp chili sauce
- 1/4 cp ketchup
- 1/4 cp light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- sprinkle dry mustard
- 1/2 tbsp chili powder
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- sprinkle paprika
- sprinkle black pepper
- salt to taste
In a medium skillet over medium heat, start browning the lean ground beef. Break it up with a wooden spoon & when the beef is about half way cooked, add in the onion. Once the beef has browned, drain off any fat & add to the crockpot.Add in the rest of the ingredients & stir until everything is mixed well.Let cook on low for 4 to 6 hours. The longer, the better! Stirring periodically.When you're ready to serve, warm up some hamburger buns, either in the microwave, for a warm soft bun, or the toaster for a crispier bun. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture over the bun & you've got yourself a super sloppy sloppy-joe samwich! Enjoy!
