GRANDMA LYNN’S SIMPLE HOLIDAY SUGAR COOKIES
Grandma Lynn’s sugar cookies were one of Jeffrey’s fondest memories of her. There is just something about a family holiday recipe that can bring you back in time. The tastes and smells bring an overall sense of joy. These are a simple sugar cookie that will sweeten up your coffee or tea. They are delicious just the way they are but are also great when frosted! When I make his Grandma Lynn’s sugar cookies, I will make a few batches because Jeffrey prefers a crispier sugar cookie, where I like a softer cookie. SENSATIONAL SESAME CRUSTED GINGER WONTON SOUP
Wontons filled with a chicken mixture pinched and sealed to perfection. Crisped sesame seeds underneath and then steamed. Ladle the homemade broth over top of the wontons and you have a warm meal to enjoy. This wonton soup is a must make! It’s relatively simple to make loaded with so much wonderful flavor. I like to serve about four wontons per person in a nice bowl of the soup. When you bite into the wonton, the slight…

These chocolate and caramel pretzel bites are my go to around the holidays. They’re always such a hit wherever I take them. I started making them probably three or four years ago. Over the years I have played around with the recipe. I’ve dipped just the corner in the white chocolate, I’ve dipped one side in the white chocolate and my latest thing is drizzling the white chocolate over all of them at once. I just love the look it gives…

THE BEST BANANA PANCAKES
Wake up from a restful sleep and whip up some of these banana pancakes.. start your day off right! They’re fluffy, buttery and have the perfect amount of sweetness from those super ripe nanners! For some reason, I go through these phases where I love bananas and have one everyday, for like a week, whether it’s with my breakfast or apart of my lunch and then all of a sudden, it comes to a complete halt. I end up with 3 or 4 bananas just sitting on my counter getting nice and brown. So whenever I post a banana recipe, you can always assume it’s because I had some nice,…
