NIGHTSTANDS GET A MAKEOVER!

Jeffrey & I have had most of our furniture for a few years now & we’re just over the dark brown (almost black) furniture. Our townhouse has light walls & light carpet so it just feels right having lighter furniture.

I started with our nightstands in our bedroom. It was nothing too crazy, but just enough to bring them back to life. It helped brighten up our room, too!

I took a can of medium gray spray paint & began painting away! I made sure it was a thin, even layer of spray paint. Once the nightstands were dry, I took some sand paper & just started sanding (in no particular way). I wanted the nightstands to have an unfinished & textured look to them. So once I achieved the look I was going for, I decided to paint the door knob black to give it a more modern feel.

I let them air out over night & then added them back to our room. I think they turned out awesome & it was super easy!
