PUMPKIN PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
Perfect time for a pumpkin smoothie, huh?! I know, pumpkin is definitely a hit around this time of year, so why not make a “healthier” version of a pumpkin dessert? This smoothie has just the right amount of pumpkin, spice & everything nice! You can substitute ingredients & even add more to it. Happy fall, y’all!
PUMPKIN PROTEIN SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS
- 1/3 cp oat milk creamer (I used Silk Oat Yeah Oatmeal Cookie)
- 1/3 cp coconut water
- 1/4 cp pumpkin puree
- 1-2 frozen bananas
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein (I used Syntha-6)
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- granola
DIRECTIONS
In a blender, combine all ingredients & blend until smooth.
Pour in a glass & top with granola.
Enjoy!
TIPS
- Frozen bananas are key! They give you the great texture & act like your ice so the smoothie is cold.
- If you aren’t good with getting your greens in, add spinach. If you do this, start by adding the creamer & coconut water along with the spinach. Blend until combined well, about 30-60 seconds. Once that’s combined, add everything else in & blend. This will make sure you don’t have any big pieces of spinach in your smoothie!
- Instead of creamer, you could do a milk of your choice.
- If you don’t have coconut water, regular water would work!
