    COLORADO

    July 28, 2020 /

First off, I just want to say that if you’ve never been to Colorado, it is a MUST! Here’s a little on how our trip went. DAY ONE: We flew Delta Airlines into Denver, Colorado & with the pandemic that we have going on, I thought they did an awesome job practicing social distancing, requiring masks & providing individual snack packs. Jeff & I felt as comfortable as we could flying during the current times. When we arrived to Denver, we shuttled to pick up our car rental & from there we began our venture to Vail, Colorado. Our hotel was about 2 hours from the airport, so we had…

    TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN

    June 22, 2020 /

Traverse City has become one of our favorite places to go – especially for a long weekend getaway. Personally, Fall in TC is one of my favorite times to go. It’s chilly & the air is crisp. With the 2020 quarantine coming to an end & as I prepared to go back to work, we thought it would be nice to go up to our favorite place for one last hoorah before life gets busy again. Usually when we travel, Jeff does most of the planning – it’s something he enjoys doing. So, he booked our stay at the hotel we usually stay at – The Baywatch Resort. It’s a…

    NIGHTSTANDS GET A MAKEOVER!

    June 10, 2020 /

Jeffrey & I have had most of our furniture for a few years now & we’re just over the dark brown (almost black) furniture. Our townhouse has light walls & light carpet so it just feels right having lighter furniture. I started with our nightstands in our bedroom. It was nothing too crazy, but just enough to bring them back to life. It helped brighten up our room, too! I took a can of medium gray spray paint & began painting away! I made sure it was a thin, even layer of spray paint. Once the nightstands were dry, I took some sand paper & just started sanding (in no…
