ZESTY RANCH PRETZEL RODS
Have you ever had Dots Homemade Pretzels? They are SO good! I created my own version of them. Enjoy these zesty pretzel rods as an afternoon snack! They have the best crunch with the best ranch flavor with a little kick to them.
Awhile back, I was at Target grocery shopping. I was in the chip aisle and came across the Dots Homemade Pretzels. I had been seeing people on Instagram raving about these pretzels so I thought I’d try them. Let me tell you, they lived up to the hype! I like to recreate things I love, at home. So I made my own version of the Dots Pretzels, while only using 5 ingredients!
INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO MAKE THE ZESTY RANCH PRETZEL RODS
The pretzels I like to use for my zesty ranch pretzel rods are Quinns Rye Style Pretzel Twists. The ingredients are relatively clean and they have the best crunch to them!
For the seasonings, I use the Hidden Valley ranch seasoning packet. Its got that zesty ranch flavor that everyone loves!
To give the zesty ranch pretzel rods a little kick, I add Franks Red Hot sauce. Depending how spicy you like it, you can add less or more!
TIPS
Low and slow is key! I cook the zesty ranch pretzel rods at 250F for about 10 minutes, giving them a little shake half way through.
You can use any pretzels that you’d like. I prefer Quinns simply because of the crunch and ingredients.
Jeff and I like to dip the pretzel rods in dill dip.. I know, kinda weird. But don’t knock it until you try it!
I like to save the bag that the pretzels come in and when the zesty ranch pretzel rods have completely cooled, I put them back in the bag.
